We offer baseball programs for ages 5 to 18, with classes designed for every skill level. Coach Ben leads all after-school classes with help from the Future Star Baseball staff. All classes are held at the FSB Batting Cages in the Oakland Hills.

Classes run throughout the school year in usually 6-week sessions — once enrolled, you’ll automatically keep your spot in the next session if you choose to continue. Some sessions may be shorter due to holidays; check the schedule below for details.

Mondays (4:30-6:30pm, Ages 5-8) – Beginner Fundamentals with Coach Ben

New to baseball and looking to get a foot in the door? This class is the ideal fit for those looking to gain a footing on baseball fundamentals. “Oh Yeah, and Wiffle Ball!”

$175 for the 5 week session

Next Session starts 3/2

Tuesdays (4:30-6:30pm, Ages 8-12) – Baseball Skills Development with Coach Ben

This class is ideal for those playing little league, travel ball, or those who have a little baseball experience. Drills include favorites such as “the box game”, pitcher hitter, and hitting off a pitching machine! And of course, Wiffle Ball!

$175 for the 5 week session

Wednesdays (4:30-6:30pm, Ages 12 and up) – Advanced Baseball Skills Development with Coach Ben

This class is designed to develop those already possessed skills of the ball players. Working with an already established skillset, this class focuses more on coordination, technique, and finetuning approaches to the challenges that come with moving up the baseball ladder. Drills include hitting, pitching, and fielding development. But what are drills without fun, so of course, there will be WiffleBall!

$250 for the session (enrollment limited)

Thursdays (4-6pm, 2nd-7th Grade) – All Star Scholars

Future Star Baseball and NeuroAffirm are teaming up to launch All-Star Scholars, an after-school program blending multi-sport enrichment with targeted academic support in study skills, financial literacy, geography, and current events.

Coach Ben Mangan leads instruction across a variety of sports, with fun, fitness, and teamwork at the core. NeuroAffirm, founded by Sarah Hauser (M.Ed., MBA, with over 25 years in education) and supported by a network of top educators and specialists, provides expert academic guidance. With small group ratios (no larger than 5:1), kids get homework support, build confidence, and stay active — all before dinner.

Players will come home with their homework done, tired and happy. Sets up a great and easy night for the family!

We have two play-fields and a number of cages. Players at different ability levels will be separated to work on different aspects of the game based on what they need to work on.
