Future Star Baseball CampsAges 5-13

The cages can be divided into different hitting and drill stations, giving players plenty of repetitions throughout the day. Players will work on hitting, pitching, catching, throwing, fielding, and other baseball skills, with opportunities to compete and practice against other players. The setup allows us to keep most of the activities from our traditional baseball camps while giving players more opportunities to hit, pitch, and work on their skills.

*Age ranges are recommendations only. Many younger kids do well in all camps. Contact Coach Ben to discuss whether your child might be comfortable in any given camp.

Four sessions of our popular full day classic Baseball Camp are scheduled this summer. This camp is a balanced approach all aspects of baseball including: Pitching, Stretching/Plyometrics, Fundamentals of Throwing & Catching, Glove Drills, Individual Defense (infield & outfield), Team Defense (throwing to the right base, cut-off, force out, etc.), Base Running, Principles of Hitting (stance and swing) and Hitting Stations. There will be a full kid-pitch baseball game everyday and Baseball Olympics each week. Ages 5-13* (Please see note on ages at bottom.)

Drills allow a player to practice specific skills dozens of times (reps) in a short space of time. But not all kids want to focus so keenly. Some kids just want to play.. after all it’s summertime!

This camp is oriented to playing mini-games that use baseball skill subsets, as well as full-fledged baseball games with pitchers, runners, and walks. These players love this. Get ready to hear about baseball Olympics, home run derby, etc. This camp is cleverly designed to work on player skills in non-drill formats. Ages 5-13*

Ages 5-13*

Camp will include baseball, football and soccer. The major spots will be introduced with mini games that teach the skills before going into a whole group game. We will also play games like capture the flag, sharks and minors and many more. All games will be scaffolded so that players can feel successful and work on motor skills, hand eye coordination and lots of physical activity. Players will leave tired and happy with all the personal wins we’ve built into the camp. Games will not be competitive but focus on the fun of trying! We will focus on kids making friends and giving positive encouragement to others in all games and activities.

Future Star Sports will run the camp with coaches Ben Mangan and CJ Jackson, along with the wonderful Sidekicks team. Ben, a former teacher, has a child on the spectrum and years of experience on meeting kids where they are physically and mentally. CJ has his Masters in Special education and works with neuron diverse kids every day as a current classroom teacher. CJ and Ben have over 25 years of coaching experience with many diverse populations. We understand different learning modalities and communication patterns and will use these skills to develop the kids on the field and with interpersonal relations. Come join the fun and improvement!

Good news for baseball lovers! If you register your player for one session at standard pricing, you are eligible to get a 10% discount on fees for additional weeks. Siblings count too!. When you register a sibling, you can also get 10% off that registration fee.

Cancellation policy- You may cancel the camp up to two weeks ahead of time for a full refund, minus the processing fee paid to the registration system. You may switch to any open camp for no additional fees.
